Fatal Framingham pedestrian crash death of Julie Stewart – Obituary

Julie Stewart, 41, was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking near 1881 Worcester Road in Framingham, Massachusetts, late on Saturday night, May 25. The incident occurred close to the Route 30 offramp around 10:25 p.m., according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and immediately began CPR on Stewart before transporting her to MetroWest Medical Center, where she later passed away from her injuries.

Authorities reported that the driver, Stewart Anderson, 44, also from Framingham, fled the scene following the crash. Anderson was later located and brought before Framingham District Court. He now faces a charge of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in injury or death. His bail was set at $100,000, with a stipulation that he not operate a vehicle.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, led by the Framingham Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, and the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
