Fatal Louisville shooting death of Lapriest Maddox – Obituary

Lapriest Maddox, 51, was fatally shot just past midnight on Tuesday, May 27, in Louisville, near the Park DuValle neighborhood.

Authorities responded to the 3500 block of Bells Lane after receiving reports of gunfire. When police arrived, they discovered Maddox outside a home suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical crews and the Louisville Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, but Maddox was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.

The Jefferson County Coroner officially identified the victim as Lapriest Maddox. At this time, there have been no arrests, and no suspects have been named.
