Fatal San Antonio car crash death of Regina Ramirez and Alejandro Robledo Jr. – Obituary
Two lives were lost in a tragic accident that occurred on Southeast Loop 410 in San Antonio on Friday, May 23, 2025. Regina Ramirez, 51, and Alejandro Robledo Jr., 54, have been identified as the individuals killed in the crash, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause of death for both victims was listed as blunt force trauma, and their deaths were classified as accidental.
The incident took place shortly before 2 p.m. near the intersection of Southeast Loop 410 and Moursund Boulevard. At the time, road construction had narrowed the roadway to a single lane, causing a slowdown in traffic. Ramirez and Robledo were traveling together in the same vehicle when a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado collided with them from behind.
Following the impact, their car veered off into a grassy area, struck a guardrail, and bounced back onto the main lanes. Meanwhile, the Silverado flipped onto its side and slid across the roadway.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Ramirez and Robledo were declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the Silverado, a 22-year-old male, sustained only minor injuries and was taken to a hospital as a safety measure.
Due to the severity of the crash, the eastbound lanes of Loop 410 remained shut down for approximately three hours while investigators worked at the site.
