Fatal Lancaster shooting death of William Aldridge – Obituary
William Aldridge, a resident of Lancaster, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday morning after his body was discovered in a trash bin on the back of a truck.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a missing person report around 1:50 a.m. in the 44000 block of Beech Avenue, near Sierra Highway. Deputies stopped a large truck departing the area and located Aldridge’s body in an open trash container in the truck bed.
According to Lt. Steve Dejong, Aldridge had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities detained several individuals for questioning, though no details about arrests or the number of people involved have been released.
