Fatal Chatawa car crash death of Willie B. Carter – Obituary
Willie B. Carter, a 77-year-old resident of Kentwood, Louisiana, lost his life Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 55 near Chatawa. According to Pike County Coroner David Rashad Taylor, Carter was driving north when his vehicle veered off the right side of the road and collided with a tree.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:10 a.m., and authorities indicated that weather conditions may have played a role in the accident.
