Fatal Aransas Pass car crash death of Abraham Zamora – Obituary

Abraham Zamora, 32, of Victoria, Texas, was one of two individuals who died in a tragic car accident early Monday morning in Aransas Pass.

The Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Zamora and 40-year-old Brittany Lesikar as the victims killed in the crash that took place around 2:53 a.m. on Highway 361 near Harbor Island Road.

According to the Aransas Pass Police Department, Zamora was driving a Dodge Ram 2500 with Lesikar and another female passenger when he collided with a Kia sedan that was parked on the roadside. The impact caused the truck to roll over, resulting in fatal injuries to Zamora and Lesikar.

A third passenger in the Dodge was transported to a local hospital. Her current condition has not been made public.

Authorities stated that the driver of the Kia was arrested for suspected DWI. The passenger in that vehicle was released to family members.

Investigators confirmed that alcohol was a factor in the deadly crash.
