Fatal Reno car crash death of Adrian Morales – Obituary

Adrian Morales, a 17-year-old from Yerington, Nevada, died from injuries sustained in a severe car accident that occurred on May 25, 2025, on South McCarran Boulevard near Skyline Boulevard in Reno. He was one of three teenagers who lost their lives in the incident.

 

According to the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, Adrian was initially transported to Renown Regional Medical Center in critical condition after the crash. Despite medical efforts, he passed away on May 28.

 

The crash happened just before 3:45 a.m. when a single vehicle, carrying multiple teenagers, crashed and became engulfed in flames. Several of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle. A bystander stepped in to help, pulling some individuals from the burning wreckage.

 

Eighteen-year-old Israel Lerma-Flores of Sparks and 17-year-old Jesse Bravo of Reno were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other teens survived; one remains hospitalized in critical condition, while the other is expected to recover.

 

Reno Police have indicated that speeding and possible driver impairment are considered contributing factors in the crash. The Major Accident Investigation Team is continuing to examine the circumstances, and official determinations on cause of death are still pending.

 

Adrian’s passing has deeply affected his family, friends, and the Yerington community. A roadside memorial near the crash site has become a gathering place for those mourning his loss and remembering his life.
