Fatal Fort Worth, Texas shooting death of Alvion Ferrell Norris – Obituary
Alvion Ferrell Norris, aged 21, was killed and two others were injured during a shooting that occurred in the Fairhaven neighborhood of southeast Fort Worth on Memorial Day, May 25, 2025. The Fort Worth Police Department is actively investigating the incident as a homicide.
Police responded to a call at approximately 3:18 p.m. near 4200 Carmel Avenue, where they discovered victims suffering from gunshot wounds inside a parked car. Emergency responders transported the injured parties to local hospitals. Norris later died at 4:04 p.m. in the emergency room from multiple gunshot wounds, as confirmed by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
According to the investigation, the suspect approached the vehicle, engaged briefly with the occupants, then produced a handgun and fired into the car, hitting all three individuals. Norris attempted to flee the scene but collapsed shortly after exiting the vehicle. The suspect then fled on foot.
The two surviving victims drove themselves to hospitals for treatment, and their current conditions have not been disclosed. The Fort Worth Police Homicide Unit is handling the case.
This shooting adds to the series of violent incidents investigated by law enforcement in the Dallas-Fort Worth area over the Memorial Day weekend, with Dallas police also looking into several other homicides during the same period.
