Anthony Victor Ochoa dies in fatal Bakersfield shooting

Fatal Bakersfield shooting death of Anthony Victor Ochoa – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed that 37-year-old Anthony Victor Ochoa was one of the two individuals fatally shot on Flower Street in Bakersfield.

According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the area of Flower Street and Williams Street shortly after 9:30 p.m. on May 27, 2025, following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered two men who had suffered gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Ochoa was identified as one of the victims who died as a result of the shooting.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident, but no additional information about potential suspects or motives has been released at this time.
