Antonio Torres dies in fatal Gardena car crash

Fatal Gardena car crash death of Antonio Torres – Obituary

Antonio Torres, a 30-year-old man from Los Angeles, lost his life in a tragic accident on the Harbor (110) Freeway near the Artesia (91) Freeway Tuesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:35 a.m., and Torres was thrown from the vehicle during the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officials.

The crash prompted a full closure of the northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway for several hours, forcing traffic to be redirected onto the eastbound 91 Freeway as authorities investigated and cleared the area.

The specific circumstances surrounding the crash remain uncertain. Investigators have not yet confirmed whether Torres was behind the wheel or if he had been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner formally identified Torres the following day.
