Fatal Houston hit-and-run death of Ayodeji Abiola – Obituary

Ayodeji Abiola, 40, was killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run on South State Highway 6 in Houston. The incident occurred at around 12:25 a.m. when a white Cadillac CTS allegedly struck him and fled the scene.

According to Houston police, the Cadillac and a brown BMW 3 Series were both heading northbound at high speeds when the Cadillac swerved onto the shoulder and hit Mr. Abiola.

Following the impact, a male passenger in the Cadillac was either ejected or exited the vehicle and was later hospitalized in critical condition.

Investigators from the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division, including Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer R. Guzman, are still determining the full sequence of events. Police are calling on the public for help identifying the vehicle or providing any information that could aid the investigation.
