Fatal Aransas Pass car crash death of Brittany Lesikar – Obituary

Brittany Lesikar, a 40-year-old resident of Victoria, Texas, lost her life in a deadly car accident that occurred early Monday morning in Aransas Pass.

The Nueces County Medical Examiner confirmed that both Brittany Lesikar and 32-year-old Abraham Zamora, also from Victoria, were killed in the crash, which happened on Highway 361 near Harbor Island Road around 2:53 a.m. on Memorial Day.

According to the Aransas Pass Police Department, Zamora was operating a Dodge Ram 2500 carrying Lesikar and another female passenger when the vehicle struck a parked Kia sedan on the roadside. The impact caused the truck to overturn.

The third woman in the truck was transported to a hospital, though her current medical condition has not been disclosed.

Authorities also reported that the Kia driver was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, while their passenger was released to family members.

Police confirmed that alcohol was a contributing factor in the fatal collision.
