Fatal Clearfield County car crash death of Dominic Moore – Obituary

Dominic Moore, a 20-year-old from DuBois, lost his life in a tragic crash that took place late Monday evening in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.

Authorities say Moore was a passenger in a 2023 Acura Integra driven by Cayden Wiseman, also 20, when the vehicle collided head-on with another car around 9:24 p.m. on Bennetts Valley Highway near Bee Line Highway in Huston Township. Wiseman was reportedly trying to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone at a high rate of speed when he struck a 2008 Subaru Outback traveling in the opposite direction.

The impact caused the Subaru to spin into a nearby parking area, where it hit a stationary 2002 International Harvester truck. Flying debris also damaged a parked 2004 Ford F-350. The vehicle Wiseman attempted to pass, a 2022 GMC Sierra, sustained only minor damage.

Moore, Wiseman, and the Subaru’s driver, 37-year-old Seth Neubert of Saint Marys, were all pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger in the Acura, 20-year-old Joseph Knee of Clearfield, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois hospital.

Emergency response teams from multiple volunteer fire departments and ambulance services were involved in managing the scene. Police confirmed that all victims had been wearing seat belts.
