Fatal San Antonio double-murder suicide death of Earnest Dean Adams – Obituary
Earnest Dean Adams, 84, lost his life in a tragic double-murder suicide at his residence on Bristlecone Drive in San Antonio’s Northwest Side. Alongside him, his wife Sharon Leahey Adams, 83, was also found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Their daughter, Mariah Anne Adams, 54, was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the same home.
The disturbing discovery occurred after police responded to a wellness check request on May 22. Officers found no answer at the front door but observed two individuals inside through a backyard window. Upon entering, they confirmed the deaths of the couple and later found their daughter’s body. The Bexar County Medical Examiner ruled the couple’s deaths as homicide, while Mariah’s passing was classified as suicide.
No forced entry was evident, and authorities remain uncertain about the exact timing of the shootings. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this family tragedy is ongoing.
