Keith Breckenridge dies in fatal Billings stabbing

Fatal Billings stabbing death of Keith Breckenridge – Obituary

Keith Breckenridge, 51, was found dead in an alley on the South Side of Billings on May 16, the result of a fatal stabbing. Violet Jeanine Littlelight, 23, has been charged with deliberate homicide in connection to his death. Authorities say the incident stemmed from a plan to rob Breckenridge, who had invited Littlelight to spend the night in exchange for money.

Prosecutors allege that Littlelight and two others were drinking before deciding to steal Breckenridge’s vehicle and belongings. After entering his truck, one of the companions allegedly assaulted and fatally stabbed him in the neck. Following the attack, the group reportedly abandoned his body and fled to the Crow reservation, where a witness claimed they burned and discarded evidence and cleaned out the truck.

Littlelight, who has no prior criminal record, pleaded not guilty to charges of homicide and evidence tampering. Her bail has been set at $500,000. The judge also imposed conditions including GPS monitoring and restrictions on contact with co-defendants or the victim’s family. While no other suspects have yet been formally charged, the investigation remains ongoing.
