Linda Ciastko, 73, was one of three elderly individuals found shot to death inside a residence in La Porte County, Indiana, on Sunday evening.

Deputies from the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the home after a welfare check was requested by a family member who had been unable to reach 75-year-old Leonard Ciastko. Inside the residence, officers discovered the bodies of Leonard Ciastko, Linda Ciastko, and 102-year-old Harriet Kowalski, each with a single gunshot wound to the head.

The La Porte County Coroner’s Office later identified the victims and noted that autopsies have been completed, although the final results are still pending. The investigation remains ongoing.
