Fatal Southeast Oklahoma City stabbing death of Richard Curnett – Obituary

Richard Curnett, 56, was fatally stabbed in Southeast Oklahoma City on the evening of Friday, May 23. Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department responded to a call around 5 p.m. near SE 20th Street and Shields Boulevard, where they discovered Curnett deceased at the scene from stab wounds.

Authorities have identified River Curnett as the suspect in the homicide and have issued a warrant for his arrest. As of now, he has not been taken into custody. Police are urging the public not to approach the suspect if spotted and to immediately call 911.
