Fatal Danville car crash death of Ryan E. Lankster – Obituary

Ryan E. Lankster, a 46-year-old resident of Danville, Illinois, was killed in a traffic collision that occurred shortly after noon on Wednesday, May 28. The crash took place in the unit block of South Gilbert Street near Bluff Street and involved an SUV and a motorcycle.

According to Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden, Lankster was identified as the victim, and his family has been informed of the tragic loss. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 to determine the exact cause of death.

The Danville Police Department, in coordination with the Vermilion County Coroner’s office, is actively investigating the circumstances of the crash.
