San Bernardino, California Man Roddssean McClaren Arrested in Bakersfield for Fatal Stabbing

SAN BERNARDINO, CA — Roddssean McClaren, a 37-year-old resident of San Bernardino, was arrested in Bakersfield in connection with a deadly stabbing that occurred earlier this month.

According to the San Bernardino Police Department, McClaren was taken into custody on May 23 in Bakersfield after fleeing the city with his girlfriend on a Metrolink train. Authorities say the incident took place on May 19 around 12:30 a.m. on the 100 block of North F Street, where officers discovered a man lying in the street with a stab wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. Police say McClaren fled the scene before officers arrived.

McClaren was transported to a detention facility and is currently facing charges related to the fatal stabbing.
