Sieas Elliott, a 24-year-old student at Stillman College, was one of three people killed in a tragic car accident that occurred in Forest Park, Georgia over Memorial Day weekend. The crash also claimed the lives of Stillman alumni Destiny Gardner and Varick Lawrence.

The incident took place on Friday, May 23, near the intersection of Interstate 75 and Old Dixie Road, according to Clayton County Police. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.

Elliott was a current student at Stillman College in Alabama, where he was pursuing a degree in early childhood education. He had plans to return to school for the 2025–2026 academic year. In addition to his studies, Elliott served as a student assistant baseball coach and was a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity.

The Stillman community mourned Elliott’s passing alongside Gardner and Lawrence. Dr. Yolanda W. Page, President of Stillman College, described the loss as a devastating moment for the entire campus, emphasizing how each of the victims had left a lasting impression with their warmth and kindness.

Terrance Whittle, former head baseball coach and Stillman’s athletic director, shared a heartfelt tribute, saying Elliott was one of the many young men he had coached and mentored over the years. Whittle said Elliott’s brotherhood, spirit, and heart would be remembered by everyone whose lives he touched.

A GoFundMe page was launched to help support Elliott’s memorial fund, highlighting his dedication to education and his role in supporting Stillman’s baseball program. His loss is deeply felt by his classmates, teammates, and fraternity brothers.
