Fatal Fountain Inn murder-suicide death of Tamara Bowling – Obituary

Authorities in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, have identified Tamara Bowling, 46, as one of two people found deceased in what investigators are calling a murder-suicide. Deputies with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check request around 9 p.m. Tuesday at a property located along the 5000 block of Highway 418.

Upon entering a camper at the scene, officers discovered both Tamara Bowling and 54-year-old Roy Lawyer dead. Following autopsies, the Laurens County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the nature of their deaths aligns with a murder-suicide.

The investigation remains ongoing as officials continue gathering more details surrounding the tragic discovery.
