Fatal Kennebunk motorcycle crash death of Cameron Mahoney – Obituary

Nineteen-year-old Cameron Mahoney of Wells tragically lost his life Wednesday evening following a collision in Kennebunk, Maine, according to local police.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Alewive Road (Route 35) and Walker Road. Authorities reported that a 28-year-old woman from Sanford was driving a Honda Fit and attempted to turn left onto Walker Road when she struck Mahoney, who was riding a Yamaha motorcycle.

 

Mahoney was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. The driver of the car received medical attention on-site and was released shortly afterward.

 

Police confirmed that no charges have been filed at this stage, and the incident remains under active investigation.
