Fatal Kosciusko County motorcycle crash death of Carlos Lundy – Obituary
Carlos Lundy, a 66-year-old man from Middlebury, lost his life in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in Kosciusko County, Indiana, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the junction of State Road 13 and Backwater Road. Initial findings indicate that Lundy was riding his Harley-Davidson northbound on State Road 13 when he rear-ended a Chevy 2500 pickup truck that was stopped in traffic, preparing to turn left.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene to find both the motorcycle and the truck involved. Lundy was pronounced dead at the location by the Kosciusko County Coroner. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
North Webster Police managed the crash site and received support from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, the County FACT Team, the Coroner’s Office, Indiana State Police, North Webster Fire & EMS, and Raven’s Wrecker Service.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
