Frances Altman dies in fatal Rogers County car crash

Fatal Rogers County car crash death of Frances Altman – Obituary

Frances Altman, a 60-year-old woman from Chelsea, Oklahoma, lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in Rogers County. The accident took place about three miles south of Chelsea on Oklahoma Highway 28. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a truck traveling northbound on OK-28 was struck by an SUV that pulled out from a private driveway into the truck’s path. The truck collided with the driver’s side door of the SUV, causing both vehicles to come to a stop on the southbound shoulder of the highway.

 

Altman, who was driving the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was hospitalized for minor injuries but has since been released. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
