Houston, Texas Man Carltonio Jackson Wanted in METRO Bus Shooting

HOUSTON, TEXAS — Carltonio Jackson, a 22-year-old resident of Houston, has been charged in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred on a METRO bus in southwest Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, Jackson was charged with murder on Thursday following the shooting of 35-year-old Phillip Ogiemwonyi. The incident happened on Friday, May 23, when the two men reportedly got into an argument aboard a METRO bus near West Bellfort Avenue and Kirby Drive.

Authorities say Ogiemwonyi was found lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound and later died at the hospital. Jackson allegedly fled the scene on foot after the shooting.
