Fatal Wood County car crash death of Makayla Lee – Obituary

Makayla Lee, 24, from Sidney, Ohio, lost her life in a single-vehicle accident on I-75 in Wood County on Thursday afternoon. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened near milepost 178 in Portage Township at approximately 2:42 p.m.

Lee was driving northbound when she lost control of her vehicle, veered off the right side of the road, and the car flipped multiple times.

She was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that Lee was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The incident remains under active investigation.
