Fatal Garfield County car crash deaths of Dawn Ingrid Triplat, Richard Headrick, and Teddy-Jo Headrick – Obituary

Three individuals who lost their lives in a tragic collision on Interstate 70 near New Castle have been identified by the Garfield County Coroner’s Office. The deadly incident, which took place around 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, occurred near mile marker 106, just east of New Castle, and led to the westbound lanes being shut down for over five hours.

 

Authorities confirmed the victims as 84-year-old Dawn Ingrid Triplat from New Castle, along with 81-year-old Richard Headrick and 79-year-old Teddy-Jo Headrick, both residents of Highland, Utah. According to the coroner, all three victims are believed to have died from blunt force trauma sustained during the crash.
