Mohammad Arsalan Ali, 35, of Bakersfield, passed away after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 23rd and L streets.
The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. on May 3, and Ali succumbed to his injuries on May 17 while receiving treatment at Kern Medical. The Bakersfield Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
