Fatal Sherbrooke homicide death of Mylene Masson-Bessette – Obituary

Mylene Masson-Bessette, 33, was discovered deceased in a home located in Sherbrooke’s eastern sector on Friday evening, prompting authorities to launch a homicide investigation.

 

Her boyfriend, 28-year-old Joey Bilodeau, was arrested at the scene and formally charged with second-degree murder during a Saturday afternoon court appearance held via videoconference.

 

According to reports, concerned relatives of Masson-Bessette contacted police, leading officers to the residence where her body was found. Although investigators have not publicly shared details about the nature of her injuries, they have confirmed that forensic specialists were deployed to examine the scene, and witnesses have been interviewed.

 

The Sherbrooke Police Service continues to actively investigate the case.
