Roshaud Ward dies in fatal Central Lubbock shooting
Fatal Central Lubbock shooting death of Roshaud Ward – Obituary
The Lubbock Police Department identified 33-year-old Roshaud Ward as the victim found with a gunshot wound in Central Lubbock on Thursday evening. Officers responded around 5:55 p.m. to the 3400 block of 23rd Street after two individuals, concerned about Ward’s wellbeing, went to check on him. When they were unable to reach him and did not find him at a nearby home on 27th Street, they proceeded to the 23rd Street location, where they discovered Ward’s body and immediately called 9-1-1.
Authorities have not made any arrests so far, and the investigation into Ward’s death remains open. Further details will be provided as the case develops.
