William Thibodaux dies in fatal New Orleans shooting
Fatal New Orleans shooting death of William Thibodaux – Obituary
William Thibodaux, 46, lost his life Wednesday evening after being shot in the Broadmoor area of New Orleans. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed that Thibodaux died from a gunshot wound.
New Orleans police responded to the 3300 block of Napoleon Avenue at approximately 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Thibodaux unresponsive. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
According to WVUE-TV, authorities have arrested 48-year-old Billy Dietrich on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
