Fatal Live Oak drive-by shooting death of Coleman Joshlin – Obituary
Coleman Joshlin, aged 79, was fatally shot in a drive-by attack in Live Oak, Texas, while out to pick up dinner on the evening of May 14. His wife of 55 years, Beverly Joshlin, is pleading with the public for help in finding the person responsible.
The shooting took place near the intersection of Pat Booker Road and the I-35 South frontage road around 6 p.m. According to authorities, multiple gunshots were fired into Joshlin’s Mazda Miata. He was rushed to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Beverly Joshlin said she was devastated by the news, initially thinking her husband might only be injured. “I never imagined this,” she shared, recalling the moment police informed her he had been hospitalized.
Investigators report the suspect was driving a silver or gray four-door Chevrolet truck. So far, no arrests have been made.
Beverly is urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward. “Please come forward. I miss him so much. He was always there,” she said.
