Fatal Chantilly, Virginia domestic violence death of Kim White – Obituary
Kim White, 32, tragically lost her life after being allegedly strangled by her husband, Alexander Towne, during a domestic dispute in their Chantilly, Virginia home on the night of May 24.
Authorities with Fairfax County Police responded to a residence on the 16000 block of Bromall Court after Towne called 911, reportedly tearful and admitting to choking his wife during an argument. When officers arrived, they discovered Kim White unresponsive with trauma to her upper body; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Court records indicate that Towne, also 32, told the dispatcher, “I don’t think she’s with us any longer.” The couple’s 3-year-old son was inside the home at the time of the incident but was not harmed.
Towne, a military veteran and Defense Health Agency analyst, was taken into custody and charged with Second-Degree Murder. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court again in July.
Neighbors shared that the family had recently moved to the area from California and appeared to be a happy couple. Police say the couple’s child is now in the care of a family member.
