Fatal Boston shooting death of Anthony McIntosh – Obituary

Anthony McIntosh passed away following a shooting in Boston that left two men dead last weekend. The incident took place in the Dorchester neighborhood and involved both McIntosh and another victim, Walter Wilkens.

 

On the evening of May 24, police responded to reports of gunfire at 38 Franklin Hill Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered McIntosh, 66, and Wilkens, 36, both suffering from severe gunshot wounds. Wilkens was pronounced dead shortly after at the hospital, while McIntosh remained in critical condition for several days before succumbing to his injuries overnight on Wednesday.

 

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but no arrests have been made as of June 1. The Boston Police Homicide Unit is urging anyone with information to come forward to aid the investigation.

 

This tragic event has left the Boston community mourning the loss of two residents and hoping for answers as the inquiry progresses.
