Ayberk Timur lost his life in an early Saturday morning accident in Bunker Hill, West Virginia.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department reported that around 2 a.m., a 2019 Toyota Camry veered off Winchester Avenue near Giles Mill Road and collided with the foundation of a nearby house.
Timur was a passenger in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, whose name has not been disclosed, was taken to Winchester Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities indicated that the Toyota was driven in a reckless and aggressive manner prior to the crash, with evidence suggesting alcohol and high speed as contributing factors. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
