Thomas J. Haney dies in fatal Jonesboro motorcycle crash

Fatal Jonesboro motorcycle crash death of Thomas J. Haney – Obituary

Two people lost their lives Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle collision in Jonesboro, Arkansas, according to the Arkansas State Police. The crash occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. on June 1 at the intersection of Flint Street and Nettleton Avenue.

The preliminary report states that Thomas J. Haney, 28, from Jonesboro, was traveling east on Nettleton Avenue when he failed to stop at a red light and collided with a 2023 Chrysler heading north on Flint Street. Haney and his passenger, 20-year-old Willow S. Searcy, also of Jonesboro, died as a result of the accident.

Authorities have not released the identity of the Chrysler’s driver. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing.
