Fatal Kansas City shooting death of Javonie E. Minor – Obituary

Javonie E. Minor, 31, lost his life Sunday evening following a shooting that took place in the 2900 block of Wabash Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.

 

Authorities were dispatched to the scene just before 8:30 p.m., where they located Minor with gunshot injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital but did not survive.

 

Preliminary details from the investigation suggest the gunfire stemmed from a confrontation involving multiple individuals outside a residence in the area.

 

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Kansas City police are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with relevant information to reach out to homicide detectives at 816-234-5043 or to submit tips anonymously through the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS. A reward of up to $25,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
