Kaylan Faulkner, a 31-year-old resident of Wellington, Nevada, was killed in a motorcycle accident late Thursday night in the Stead area of Reno. The crash took place around 11 p.m. on May 29 near the Stead Boulevard offramp from the freeway.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Faulkner died at the scene due to blunt force trauma to the head and neck resulting from the collision.
Investigators have stated that speed does not seem to have played a role in the incident. The Reno Police Department continues to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
