Fatal Cass County head-on crash death of Vilayvieng Khamvongsa and Jennifer Burton – Obituary

Two drivers, Vilayvieng Khamvongsa, 61, of Walker, and Jennifer Burton, 55, of Menahga, lost their lives in a deadly head-on collision in Cass County last week. The crash took place on County Road 13 in Turtle Lake Township around 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 29.

Both Khamvongsa and Burton were operating the vehicles involved in the collision. Two passengers traveling with Burton suffered severe injuries; they have been identified as 46-year-old Kristopher Fisher from Walker and 31-year-old Tiffanni Haugen from Detroit Lakes.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, but no additional details have been released at this time. The community mourns the loss of both drivers while supporting those seriously injured in the accident.
