Fatal South Bend motorcycle crash death of Jahawn Horton – Obituary
Jahawn Horton, a 21-year-old resident of South Bend, died Tuesday night after a three-wheeled motorcycle crash that left him with critical injuries.
According to a statement from the South Bend Police Department, Horton was operating the motorcycle when he collided with a branch in the roadway, leading to the accident. The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on June 3 in the 3400 block of West Washington Street, close to the Charles Black Community Center.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found Horton with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the location.
Officials confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
