Fatal Sacramento car crash death of Linda Angelica Tracy – Obituary
Linda Angelica Tracy, 36, of Sacramento, was tragically killed after being pinned between her own vehicle and a parked car in a grocery store parking lot in the city’s Pocket neighborhood.
The deadly incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. in the parking area of a Bel Air store on Rush River Drive. According to Sacramento police, officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car and discovered that Tracy had been behind the wheel before she was fatally pinned by her vehicle.
Emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as Linda Angelica Tracy and listed the preliminary cause of death as related to a motor vehicle accident.
Two children were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident but were unharmed, officials said. The circumstances surrounding how the vehicle moved and pinned Tracy are still under investigation by Sacramento police.
