Ruby May Golnick, a 66-year-old resident of Garner, Iowa, was killed Wednesday morning in a crash involving a motorcycle and a semi on US Highway 18 near Charles City.

The incident occurred around 9:10 a.m., prompting a response from multiple agencies, including the Iowa State Patrol. According to the ISP’s preliminary report, Golnick was operating a motorcycle when she entered the highway in front of an oncoming semi-truck. The truck driver was unable to stop in time, resulting in a fatal collision.
