Cheryl Denise Irby, 54, from Center Point, lost her life in a multi-car accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Birmingham, Alabama.
The incident took place around 2:14 p.m. along the 1100 block of 42nd Place North. Irby was behind the wheel of one of the vehicles involved and suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Authorities from the Birmingham Police Department have launched an investigation to determine what led to the tragic collision.
