Fatal Austin car crash death of Isidro Montero Reyes – Obituary

Isidro Montero Reyes, a 33-year-old man, was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, June 8, 2025, in Austin, Texas.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the northbound lanes of State Highway 130, specifically on the ramp from SH 130 to eastbound U.S. 290, between exits 437B and 437A. Officers with the Austin Police Department responded to the scene and found Reyes, the sole occupant of the vehicle, already deceased.

This marks the 41st fatal collision in Austin for the year 2025. At the same point in 2024, the city had recorded 34 fatal crashes with 35 total fatalities.

The details provided reflect the preliminary findings from the ongoing investigation. Authorities urge anyone with information related to this crash to contact APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit or submit an anonymous tip through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program.
