Fatal Mobile stabbing death of Joirdan Jones – Obituary

Joirdan Jones, 22, died following a stabbing incident at an apartment complex in Mobile on Sunday evening. Around 6:30 p.m., police responded to a call at One Ten Apartments on Long Street, where they found Jones and her mother injured. Both women had been attacked during an altercation with a former roommate while retrieving belongings.

The argument escalated, and the roommate used a knife to stab both women. Jones was taken to a hospital but later died from her wounds. The Mobile Police Department has said the case will be forwarded to a grand jury as the investigation continues.
