Fatal St. Louis shooting death of Michal Maxon – Obituary

Michal Maxon, a 22-year-old resident of Castle Point, Missouri, was killed Sunday night during a shooting near Elite Supermarket & Grill on North Broadway in north St. Louis.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire in the 8300 block of North Broadway. Upon arrival, officers found Maxon with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An 8-year-old girl in the same vehicle suffered a bullet graze to her wrist, and a 25-year-old man was later located a block away with a gunshot wound to his leg. Both were taken to the hospital and were listed in stable condition as of Monday morning.

According to initial findings, the victims were inside a car when an unidentified shooter opened fire on them following a disturbance. The suspect fled, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Homicide Division or provide anonymous tips through CrimeStoppers.
