Fatal Rockford car crash death of Reggie Klaas – Obituary

Reggie Klaas, a 44-year-old man from Roscoe, lost his life early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Rockford. The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on June 8 along the 3300 block of Wesleyan Avenue.

Authorities believe Klaas was traveling westbound on Wesleyan Avenue at a high speed when he lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a crash. Emergency crews removed him from the wrecked car, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office confirmed that his death was caused by injuries sustained during the collision.

The Rockford Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
