Timothy Pirraglia dies in fatal Treasure Lake shooting

Fatal Treasure Lake shooting death of Timothy Pirraglia – Obituary

Timothy Pirraglia was shot and killed during a confrontation with his roommate at a residence in Treasure Lake early on June 7. Sandy Township police responded to a call made at 3:11 a.m. by Christopher T. Euard, who admitted to shooting Pirraglia after an ongoing dispute escalated.

According to police, the incident followed weeks of tension between the two men over their shared living situation. On the night of June 6, the argument turned physical, with Pirraglia allegedly striking Euard. Later, as Pirraglia prepared to leave the house, Euard retrieved an AR-15 style rifle and shot him in the chest after another verbal altercation.

Authorities found Pirraglia’s body inside the home along with a single shell casing and the firearm nearby. Another roommate confirmed Euard’s account of the event, stating Euard had warned him not to speak about the incident.

Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer Snyder pronounced Pirraglia dead at the scene. Euard is being held without bail at the Clearfield County Jail and faces charges including criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 13.
