Christopher Siple Jr. dies in fatal Canton car crash

Fatal Canton car crash death of Christopher Siple Jr. – Obituary

Christopher Siple Jr., 41, of Canton, died at the scene of a collision that also claimed the life of another driver, Dai’sha Wise, 28, also from Canton, on Saturday night.

The Canton Police Department reported the accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Street NW and Wertz Avenue NW. According to authorities, Siple was driving a Volkswagen Golf northbound on Wertz Avenue at a very high speed when he collided with a Nissan Altima.

The Nissan Altima, driven by Wise, was traveling southbound on Wertz Avenue and was in the process of turning east onto 4th Street NW when the crash happened.

Wise was transported to Aultman Hospital by the Canton Fire Department but later succumbed to her injuries. Siple was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters. The Canton Metro Crash Team is currently investigating the incident.
