Miranda Greene dies in fatal Gaines County car crash

Fatal Gaines County car crash death of Miranda Greene – Obituary

Miranda Greene, a 31-year-old woman from Artesia, New Mexico, died Friday evening in a collision on US Highway 62 in Gaines County, Texas.

Texas troopers responded to the crash around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of US 62 and County Road 213. Investigators reported that Greene was traveling east behind a semi-truck when the driver of the semi attempted to turn left. Greene was unable to slow down in time and struck the rear of the truck.

Greene was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver, 55-year-old Klass Banman of Seminole, was unharmed.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
